The best way to do it is to measure the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. It should read around 1000 ohms if the sensor is at full operation. 2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating from the highway paytoll at a high speed I noticed a massive reduction in power. It was as if the engine had run out of gas. Or my injectors were not firing. Today, i pulled out the spark plugs, three were drenched in gazoline, the 4th one was dry. When I start the engine without sparks, I put a piece of tissue on the top of each hole in the injector and the 3 that were drenched in gazoline leap out, however the 4th one stays shut. I inspected the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55,30/55 and 48/55 I got zero ohm. I assume that the problem is elsewhere.
I also tried to reset the PID but without success. The car will start when the G28 is unplugged, and it works fine when the G28 connected. However, the intermittent misfire problem still occurs at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62) even when unplugged, still shows an ice temperature of -49c. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bars when the actual pressure is zero.
I'm not sure what to do, as i believe that i've eliminated everything else. However, i'm afraid that I might have missed something. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know! TIA!
